Yohei Nakamura was born in Japan.

He started playing guitar at the age of 15.  

He graduated from Berklee College of Music and Los Angeles Music Academy. 

Yohei is currently based in Los Angeles, California and has been touring worldwide with the artists such as Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Brian McKnight and Sheila E..
